This Policy explains why we, Tender Paws Ltd collect personal information about clients and patients who visit our premises.

Tender Paws Ltd is a company dedicated to looking after your pets. Our registered address is 35 Addington Road, West Wickham, Kent BR4 9BN. We are registered for VAT purposes with registration number 113204476.

As your chosen veterinary surgery, we have a legitimate interest in processing your data, in order for us to provide you with the best veterinary service we can.

How do we use your information?


We may send you vaccine, flea and worming reminders, if you have opted in to our reminder service. We may use your information for referral centres, insurance companies or other veterinary practices as part of your pets history if the need arises.

How long and where we store your data


We will store your data for as long as necessary to fulfil our statutory obligations. We will not sell, rent or give your information to any other third parties without your authority. We will hold the information on our practice management system, EZVet Pro.

Disclosure of your information and your rights


Under GDPR you as the client, have the right to access the information we hold for you. You can request a copy of this information by asking us for an SAR, Subject Access Request. We will provide you with this information, free of charge and normally within a few days, not exceeding a month. We will not release your information to third parties unless you have requested us to do so, or we are required to do so by law, for example, by a court order or for the purposes of prevention of fraud or other crime. You have the right to opt out of our reminder service.

If you choose to leave our practice, you have the right to have a copy of your data sent to another practice for their information, only with your consent.

It is essential for us to maintain accurate records for all of our clients and patients due to GDPR. In order to do this, we ask that you keep us informed if you change your contact details. We may from time to time ask you to confirm the details we hold for you.
